Google "Phone by Google"

Real moments, vibrant stories—where connection meets creativity.

When Google set out to connect authentically with a younger audience, they brought Bryant Swanstrom’s production team on board to capture how people really use their phones—no filters, just real-life moments. The challenge? To create relatable, engaging content that didn’t feel like an ad, but still aligned with Google’s goals across multiple campaign phases. With influencers Alisha Marie (known for her lifestyle vlogs and relatable humor), Todrick Hall (a multi-talented artist blending music, dance, and theater), and Connor Franta (an author and digital creator advocating for mental health), we developed playful, visually-driven videos that celebrated self-expression and connection. These videos drove impressive engagement across social platforms, with fans sharing, commenting, and interacting throughout the campaign’s multi-month rollout. Bryant Swanstrom led the charge as director of photography, crafting a vibrant aesthetic that made every frame resonate with our target audience—right where they live: on their phones.
