For The Center for Divorce Education, we tackled a heart-heavy, pandemic-era challenge: producing an e-learning video series designed to help children navigate the emotional storm of their parents’ divorce. With the pandemic limiting in-person shoots, the challenge was to find a way to capture genuine performances remotely—so we shipped pro-level cameras and lighting equipment to the kids and families, guiding them step-by-step through virtual direction. To keep young viewers engaged, we developed Orby, an AI-powered, animated character that acted like a real-time puppet, seamlessly blending Unreal Engine magic with a talented voice actor’s performance. The project became an award-winning success, with the videos now serving as a vital resource for thousands of children worldwide facing family separation. Every part of this collaboration—from kids’ dedication to our team's innovation—reflected SeaGlass Productions' commitment to delivering high-impact stories that heal, educate, and empower.
