Before there was Nobody Wants This, Erin Foster and her sister Sarah created comedy gold on VH1’s Barely Famous. In this hilarious unscripted series, the L.A.-based sisters navigate their quest for fame, fortune, and love in a playful parody of celebrity culture. The challenge was to craft a show that balanced self-aware humor with the charm of its almost-famous stars while keeping the audience engaged. By incorporating appearances from genuine A-listers like Zach Braff, Chelsea Handler, Kate Hudson, Chris Martin, Jessica Alba, and Kate Upton, the series cleverly blurred the lines between reality and parody. During pre-production and production, Jim helped the team craft outlines and managed the entire shoot schedule.
